Moyale will have to fly higher than the Eagles

POLICEMEN, Blue Eagles are Monday afternoon gearing to fly over soldiers, Moyale Barracks in an Airtel Top eight first leg quarterfinal.

The Eagles will host the Lions from Kaning’ina at Nankhaka stadium in Lilongwe.

The men in uniform will be meeting in the last first leg quarterfinal of the 2018 Airtel Top eight Cup.

The second and decisive legs in the second edition of the tournament will be played this weekend to 27 May.

On Sunday, Joseph Kamwendo’s first half penalty assured that BE Forward Wanderers go into the second leg of the Airtel Top eight Cup with an away goal against Kamuzu Barracks.

The Bob Mpinganjira lead technical has shrugged off pressure from fans albeit temporarily after a spate of unconvincing.

Within the week Wanderers promoted Mpinganjira to the position of head coach, he took over from Yasin Osman who is now the team’s TD.

The narrow win on Sunday also claimed the money of the match award for defender Lucky Malata.

This year’s tournament kicked off on 5 May.
