ABOUT 278, 900 candidates are expected to sit for this year’s Primary School Leaving Certificate, PSLC, examinations starting today.
The Malawi National Examinations Board, Maneb spokesperson, Mayamiko Chiwaya has told The Express that all is set to administer the exams.
Chiwaya said that all those that are involved in the administration of this year’s examinations were trained on how to do their work.
Chiwaya has since assured the general public that the board is doing all it can to ensure that there is no cheating during the exams.
So far, the board has involved all stakeholders including Maneb officials, members of the communities and security personnel to monitor how the exams will be administered.
The board has, however, pleaded with the general public to give them tips whenever they have information on cheating during the exams in order to minimize such cases.
