Primary school learners sitting for national exams

 

LIMBE Police station is keeping in custody the Director of Harmony Private Primary School on allegation that he stole the money meant for this year’s standard 8 examinations.

The Director, Alfred Kapito, is suspected to have collected K169, 000 as examination fees from 32 students in December.

Mr. Kapito then the candidates that he had deposited into MANEB examinations fees account.

However, since then, all seemed to be well until on Sunday when it was discovered that all the 32 students are missing on nominal roll.

Limbe Police Station Wisdom Nhlane told The Express that suspect failed to give convincing answers to the concerned parents hence his arrest and the learners are not their exams.
