TECH Company, Angle Dimensions has developed Smart Forms, an android mobile app that seeks to except people in Malawi from the rigorous process of manually signing up forms to register for a service.
The company realises that through the physical data capture process a lot of people find it extremely hard and time consuming to submit their details to providers of banking, micro-finance and insurance services, for instance.
Youthful entrepreneur, Bram Fudzulani is a systems developer at Angle Dimension.
He tells The Express that Smart Forms hopes to drastically increase the number of people in Malawi that are both banked and insured.
Fudzulani, who doubles as the vice president of the ICT Association of Malawi, is of the strong opinion that by using technology to minimise manual data capture and accelerating the registration process by financial and insurance service providers, the mobile will help Malawi’s central bank, RBM in its ongoing financial inclusion drive.
The Cyber Security Evangelist and Internet Governance Activist adds that the app provides a fast, easy and secure onboarding solution which is extremely vital in helping providers meet compliance conditions set by the Reserve Bank of Malawi.
These compliance measures include Know Your Customer, KYC.
He says research has shown that many customers in Malawi are not fond of the KYC process in particular because it demands them to physically visit their banker or insurer to update their personal details.
In a world where cyber terrorist seize people’s personal information for malicious purposes, Fudzulani says users need not to worry as the android app is secured with industry standards that comply with financial systems.
He stress that Smart Forms is secure enough to be trusted.
Running under the tagline “making your life simple”, the mobile app is available for download on Google Playstore.
