THE MALAWI Law Society, MLS, has elected Alfred Majamanda as its new president, and Tadala Chinkwezule as his vice.
This comes a month after Mwiza Nkhata, who was the president, resigned from the position in May, 2018 by citing unspecified personal reasons.
As a seasoned Legal practitioner, Majamanda has been MLS vice president and is a graduate of University of Malawi, Chancellor College with a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) degree.
He has also just completed studying for Masters Degree in commercial law.
His vice is also a graduate of the University of Malawi with a Bachelor of Law degree and is a member of Women Lawyers Association of Malawi.
