Booted out-Wanderers.

NYASA Big Bullets have booted their rivals, Be Forward Wanderers, out  of the Airtel Top eight cup.

Bullets’ 2-1 victory at the Bingu National Stadium over their Blantyre neighbours has taken them to the final.

They will face Blue Eagles of Lilongwe in two weeks’ time at the same venue.

All three goals were scored in the second half.

Bullets were the first to score through Bright Munthali before Chiukepo Msowoya sealed their victory.

Wanderers’ consolation goal was scored by Dziko Nkanda.

Bullets’ defender Bashir Maunde was voted man of the match.

To reach semifinal, Bullets defeated Moyale Barracks 1-0 on aggregate.

Wanderers booked their meeting with Bullets after defeating Kamuzu Barracks 2-0 on goal aggregate.

The cup is officially sponsored by multinational mobile phone carrier, Airtel.
