Carlsberg brand will be cerebrating it’s 50th year of existence in Malawi on 6th July,2018.
To spice up the event, a French company ,Castel which is the brewer and distributor of Carlsberg products in Malawi in collaboration with Entertainers Promotions Company have lined up eleven local musicians to spice up the event during live gigs in the commercial city of Blantyre.
Sir Paul Banda of Alleluya band and his blood brother Soldier Lucius Banda of Zembani band are among the three veteran performers on the line up.
Based in Balaka district, the seasoned singers will share the stage with youthful singers such as Dan Lu, Nepman and Sam Simakweli who were all mentored by Soldier.
The acoustic duo of Edgar and Davis and the Police Orchestra will also perform at the live street gigs on day which is coincidentally happens to be Malawi’s Independence Day.
Organisers say rapper Tay Grin will headline urban performers.
Other performers on the day will include local five club deejays in the names of Sir Charles, Kenny Klips, Slick, Trick and Nathan Tunes.
